New for
the 07-08 season is the addition of a U16 Midget Lite
Program. The U16 Midget Lite Program was specifically
designed for players who are already participating with
their high school team and are also interested in playing
travel hockey on the weekends. In order for a player to be
eligible for the U16 Midget Lite program, the player must be
rostered on a high school team by August 1st,
2007. Players enrolled in U16 Midget Lite will participate
in 3 practices every 2 weeks, consisting of 1 weekday
practice every other week and 1 weekend practice (on
average) every week. The actual number of practices each
weekend will range between 0 and 2 depending on the games
scheduled for that weekend. The fee for players who enroll
in U16 Midget Lite is $995.00. U16 players who: 1) are not
eligible to enroll in U16 Midget Lite (i.e. are not playing
on a high school team) or 2) choose not to enroll in U16
Midget Lite (are playing on a high school team but prefer
the additional instruction) will be assessed the full player
fee and will receive 1 additional skills session per week.
These skills sessions will primarily be instructed by a
member of the RMU Division 1 Men’s Ice Hockey team coaching
staff. |
